Helping Achievements Through Charitable Hands ( H.A.T.C.H ) is Makibie’s new internship program where students (or recent graduates) participate in the adoption of a non-profit agency’s website. A local non-profit charity will be chosen for a website overhaul where students will have the opportunity to work together in Makibie’s office loft suite, known as the Inkubator, gaining real life experience in the web development industry. This program designed to help build community involvement starting with you. You’ll be working with mentors who are experts in the industry. One-on-one scheduled time with professionals in your area of study will help you gain knowledge and experience beyond stuffing envelopes and making coffee runs. You will become a voice in group sessions with executives and rub elbows with industry leaders. Networking is the key to professional growth. Not to mention how you’ll feel knowing you’re making a difference in the community by helping the adopted agency. Still in?
